Flippin Teens Arrested on Multiple Drug Felonies

The Marion County Sheriff's Department arrested two teenagers for numerous drug-related felonies.

According to Sheriff's officials, 18-year-old Nicholas Carns (pictured, left) and 19-year-old Ezra Jones (right) were arrested last week when a deputy on routine patrol noticed their car was parked suspiciously.

The deputy noticed that Jones appeared to be under the influence, and further investigation revealed both Jones and Carns were in possession of marijuana and prescription pills.

Jones was charged with possession of marijuana, Hydrocodone and Xanax, as well as driving while intoxicated, two counts of failure to label narcotic drugs and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000.

Carns was arrested for possession of marijuana and Hydrocodone, as well as failure to label narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,000.
 
Both are scheduled to appear in the Marion County Circuit Court on Nov. 7, at 10:00 a.m.
