Arkansas District 2 Congressional Incumbent Faces Three Challengers

The Arkansas District 2 congressional race pits a first-term representative against three challengers.

Rep. Tim Griffin is the incumbent and Republican in the race.

His challengers are:
  • Democrat Herb Rule, a Little Rock attorney
  • Libertarian candidate Chris Hayes
  • Green Party candidate Barbara Ward, who works at the Historic Arkansas Museum
The four candidates squared off last week in a debate held in Conway.

The Second District covers seven counties in Central Arkansas (Conway, Faulkner, Perry, Pulaski, Saline, Van Buren, White and Yell).
