White County Woman Dies in House Fire Near Beebe

A woman is dead following a house fire near Beebe.

38-year old Tiffany Weatherford died when her home on Swinging Bridge Road caught fire.

It happened around 2:30 this morning.

Initial evidence indicates the fire may have started near a wood-burning fireplace.

The investigation is continuing.

Weatherford was the only person in the home at the time of the fire.

Her body has been taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

Beebe, McRae, Antioch and El Paso fire departments responded to the fire.
