The US Geological survey reports a series of small earthquakes have taken place in Van Buren County this week.

It started with a two-point-zero quake on Thursday near Fairfield Bay.

Another two point zero earthquake occurred in the same location Friday morning, and a third, slightly stronger quake, at two-point-four on the Richter  scale Friday night.

Geologists say quakes of those sizes could be felt a few miles away.

The Van Buren County Sheriff's Department  has not received any reports of damage.
