UAMS Mother Baby Fair Saturday

UAMSLOGO2007-09-28-1191008959.gifExpectant parents are invited to learn about pregnancy and birth from experts at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock this weekend.

The UAMS Mother Baby Fair is Saturday, September 29, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Seminar topics include:

10:30 a.m. - "High-Risk Pregnancies," with Paul Wendel, M. D., associate professor in the UAMS Division of Obstetrics and medical director of Labor and Delivery.

11:30 a.m. - "Pain Control During Labor," with Indranil Chakraborty, M. D., assistant professor in the UAMS Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management.

12:30 p.m. - "Exercise and Nutrition During Pregnancy," with Kellie Coleman, UAMS Water Wellness Program coordinator, and Mary Jane Cagle, nutritionist consultant for special projects with the Arkansas WIC Program.
