UALR Students Participate in Sustainability Day

Students at UALR took part in the school's annual Sustainability Day by asking the public to drop off electronics, household hazardous waste and other items for recycling, and paper for shredding.
They also took unused prescription and non-prescription medications for proper disposal.
The students also held a clothing swap and shoe drive, and performed a campus trash cleanup.
Local businesses and UALR partners were on hand with information and instruction on sustainability methods.
