Updated: October 24, 2012
A mistake on the White County electronic ballot system has been reported by a voter who filed an affidavit seeking to have State Representative Tiffany Rogers' name corrected on the ballot.

The voter noticed Rogers' name reads "State Representative Tiffany Rog...". A spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Arkansas hopes the mistake will be fixed soon.

"Our number one priority is ensuring the right to vote in fair and lawful elections is available to the people of White County," said Candace Martin, "A citizen has filed an affidavit which asks the White County Election Commission to correct their error immediately and to ensure that Tiffany Rogers' name is corrected on the ballot. We fully expect that the Commission will own up to their responsibility to the hard-working taxpayers of White County who deserve the right to vote in an election that adheres to the law."

Early voting in Arkansas began Monday. Election Day is November 6th.
