According to the arrest report, Garland County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 200 block of Highway 290 just before 10:00 Saturday night.
Upon arrival they made contact with a man and 32-year-old Tonya Lomack, who had red watery eyes, slurred speech, was unsteady on her feet and had the smell of intoxicants, according to the report.
Deputies noticed blood drops in the kitchen and bathroom area, and although both Lomack and the man denied any knowledge of a stabbing, an examination of the man's left arm discovered a fresh stab wound on his shoulder.
Tonya Lomack initially resisted arrest, but was eventually cuffed, placed in the back of the deputy's car and taken to the Garland County Sheriff's Office where she was charged with second-degree battery and refusal to submit to arrest.
