ViPS Seeking Volunteer Readers

By: News Release
Updated: October 23, 2012
Volunteers in Public Schools (ViPS) is recruiting volunteer readers for Jane Mendel Reading Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 13.

ViPS' goal is to have a volunteer reader in each of the 652 elementary classrooms in the Little Rock School District on that day.

You can read one of your favorite children's stories, or you can choose a book from the school library.

It only takes 30 minutes to share your love of reading with our students.

Volunteer readers should register immediately. You can register online at www.LRSD.org or by calling ViPS at 447-8477.
