Cleburne Co. Man Arrested for Suspected Role in Boat Theft

A Drasco man is behind bars for his role in the theft of a boat.

According to the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Patrick Sharp has been charged with theft by receiving, stemming from the investigation of a boat reported stolen in late August from Dave's Marine in Drasco.

Sheriff's officials say the boat was recovered on Water Lane near Concord nine days after it was reported stolen.

Additional suspects have also been identified and are still under investigation.

Sharp is being held in the Cleburne County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
