According to a Talk Business-Hendrix College poll, support for medical marijuana in Arkansas is waning.

An article on TalkBusiness.net says out of 868 likely voters, 54 percent said they do not support the measure, with 38 percent in favor of medical marijuana and 8 percent undecided.

According to the article, 47 percent supported the measure when asked the same question in July, with only 46 percent in opposition.

Democrats supported the measure 51 percent to 39, while Republicans opposed it 71.5 percent to 23.5.

The poll has a margin of error of +/- 4 percent.

Would like to see more support for this issue. There is tens of thousands of years of use of cannibis and hemp, so many good uses for both. I do not see why my country continues to treat a plant that has never killed anyone by itself with so much scrutiny. I would love to see Arkansas voters step out and say yes to all the good that could come from #5.
