Little Rock Man Killed After Semi Hits Car

A Little Rock man died after losing control of his vehicle and being hit by a semi on Sunday night.

According to Arkansas State Police crash records, 31-year-old Nicholas G. Carter of Little Rock was southbound on US Highway 67 in Jacksonville when he lost control of his Toyota Corolla while trying to negotiate a curve.

As he lost control, he hit the inside concrete retaining wall before coming to rest in the middle of the south lane, his car unable to move.

A man driving a 2007 International was traveling behind Carter, and was unable to avoid hitting the front, driver's side of his Corolla.

Carter was taken to the Pulaski County Coroner.

He was wearing a seat belt.
