One year after Occupy protesters made headlines, some of them were cited in Little Rock Sunday night.
The group put tents in last year's protest spot, which they claim is public property.
However, when police showed up, they were quickly cited and told to leave. Police told the group that the government property was private.
The group received a citation after refusing to leave.
Protester Greg Deckelman said, "We were not obstructing anything with our tent. We did have a chair, too, to sit in and so forth when we got tired, but we were actively protesting and exercising our freedom of assembly rights...and that's what we were charged with."
The protesters claim they had no intention of sleeping in the tent and were simply planning an overnight protest.
They plan to fight the citation.
