Some big changes are coming to the River Market next year.

Ground will be broken for The Arcade Building at 11:00 Monday morning.

The new complex will offer several new amenities to the River Market District and Clinton Avenue.

The three-story, 51,000 square-foot building will house a restaurant, public theater and better parking, according to library officials. The project was funded by library millage money.

The facility is scheduled to open next fall.
