Police Investigate Two Shootings in Little Rock

Police worked scenes at two separate shootings in Little Rock Sunday.

The first shooting occurred around 2:30 p.m. at 6801 West 12th Street.

There, they found two female victims with non-life threatening gun shot wounds -- one shot in the arm and the other shot in the leg.

Both women were transported to UAMS for treatment. The identity of the victims has not yet been released.

Around the same time, officers were called to the scene of a second shooting at 9716 Lebette Street.

Detectives are working both shootings and trying to determine if they are related.

Detectives are also attempting to identify suspects in both shootings. No information on a suspect is available at this time.

More information is expected to be released on the shootings later this evening.
