Bauxite Police Chief Set to Retire

Bauxite's Police Chief has announced his resignation from the post effective at the end of October.
Mayor Johnny McMahan says Chief Ron Parsons attributed his resignation to personal reasons.
The mayor noted the position is a part-time job, but that Parsons also works full-time as a Saline County Sheriff's Office investigator.
