Pine Bluff PD Make Arrest in Connection to Thursday's Robbery, Shooting

Pine Bluff Police have arrested a man believed to be responsible for Thursday night's aggravated robbery and shooting.
According to police, 19-year-old Michael Merritt has been arrested and is being held at W.C. "Dub" Detention Center on probable cause aggravated robbery and criminal attempt capital murder.
Police say after apprehending Merritt, they executed a search warrant at a residence on Union Street and discovered several items believed to be associated with the crime scene.
This investigation is ongoing.
