Conway Video Store Raided for Synthetic Marijuana, Owner Denies Wrongdoing

Authorities in Conway raided a shop they say was selling synthetic marijuana; but the shop's owner says everything he had was legit.

Faulkner County Sheriff's deputies raided Starstruck Video Thursday afternoon, and arrested two people.

Store owner James McKnight says he was never told what the officers were looking for, but believes it was K2.

He says he does sell potpourri, but nothing that's illegal.

"It says on the package it's 100 percent legal, the suppliers that we order from guarantee that it is synthetic cannabinoid free, so you know, to my understanding, everything that we sell is legal," says McKnight.

McKnight says he thinks the attention the medical marijuana ballot initiative has gotten in Arkansas may have led to his arrest.
