Improvements to I-630 in Little Rock to Require Lane Closures

By: News Release
Updated: October 19, 2012
Crews installing the final beams for the Baptist Health Drive Bridge over Interstate 630 in Little Rock will require night time lane closures on Interstate 630 next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The improvements will require the eastbound inside and center lanes on Interstate 630 to be closed Monday night, Oct. 22. The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Periodically, 15-minute lane closures will be utilized on all Interstate 630 travel lanes to allow lifting of the beams and placement over the travel lanes.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
