Person Shot, High-Speed Chase Ensues in Pulaski Co.

A high-speed chase ensued in Pulaski County Thursday afternoon following reports of a shooting.

According to reports, a person was shot in the 2100 block of Batesville Pike Thursday afternoon.

Authorities began chasing a suspect believed to be involved in the shooting through the northern part of Pulaski County.

That chase ended when an officer with Arkansas State Police rammed the suspect's vehicle on Highway 70 west of Interstate 440 in front of KB Vans, Trucks & Cars.

The suspect was reportedly injured in the crash.
