A woman who escaped from the Sharp County jail Thursday has been recaptured in Texas.
Christy Lee Vissering got away while performing community service work.
Texas authorities are now looking for the woman's husband, Billy Rosewell, who is believed to have picked her up and will also face charges in her escape.
Original story (October 18):
An inmate has escaped the Sharp County Jail.
According to the Sharp County Sheriff's Office, Christy Lee Vissering was performing community service duties in the courthouse on Thursday before she walked away.
Vissering was originally jailed for criminal impersonation and felony warrants out of Texas.
Officials with the Sharp County Sheriff's Office say she may be with Billy Rosewell in a red Nissan pickup with Arkansas license plate 171MGT.
The owner of the farm where Rosewell was staying told a Sharp County deputy that he left in his red Nissan pickup to get cigarettes and never returned.
A felony warrant for third-degree escape has been issued for Vessering.
Anyone with information on Vissering's whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Sharp County Sheriff's Office.
