Crews will check the path of destruction from Wednesday night thunderstorms.
According to NWS Warning Coordination Meteorologist John Robinson, there are two storm tracks that will be examined today and tomorrow.
Today's survey will begin in Clarendon (Monroe County) and move east to the area of the Phillips County line. [See pic below of street sign inside damaged store].
After that, NWS crews will work their way westward from Clarendon through Prairie County and on to Lonoke County.
The area between Slovak and the Hazen airport is along one NWS radar track and there were power outages in that area, Robinson says.
On Friday, NWS surveyors go to Grant and Jefferson counties plan to check the area from near Prattsville to near the Dexter Gate of the Pine Bluff Arsenal. So far, there are no reports of any damage along this track, says Robinson.
