The state GOP announced on Wednesday that six of its candidates are getting a financial boost from the political action committee GOPAC.
GOPAC said they believe these candidates have the momentum to win.
Democrats say this is about outsiders trying to influence state races.
"If the candidates win, these are the races to watch, it will greatly impact our ability to get majorities in both the senate and the house. "says GOPAC President David Avela.
"While Republicans are holding a news conference with outside interest groups, Governor Beebe is out announcing 350 new jobs for our state," says Candace Martin, with the Arkansas Democrats.
There is one Arkansas Democrat running for congress who is also getting money from Washington.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is reportedly giving up to $500,000 to Scott Ellington's bid for the seat representing the state's first district.
