Conway Mother Charged with Endangering Child After DWI

A Conway mother has been charged with putting her 10-year-old child in danger after she left the kid home alone, then ended up behind bars.
Conway Police say 38-year-old Angela Schwark left her child alone Friday night and didn't return until Saturday evening, because she had been arrested and held on a driving while intoxicated charge in Conway County.
The child's father, who lives in northeast Arkansas, contacted police after getting a worried phone call from the kid.
The Department of Human Services investigated and released the child to the father's care.
