Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Sees Decline in Sales

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is reporting sluggish sales.

The lottery brought in $6 million less than projected in September, and $9 million less than it earned in the same month last year.

Director Bishop Woosley says it appears as though sales are coming back up.

He told the commission that the lottery has seen one or two similar declines since it started a couple of years ago, but those slow periods were always followed by an increase in revenue.
