Fire Damages Stuttgart Rice Mill, No Workers Hurt

A Stuttgart rice mill has been damaged by fire.
The blaze broke out Tuesday morning at a Producers Rice facility at 518 East Harrison.
Officials say a stray spark from welding equipment started the fire in a storage silo.
No workers were hurt but the storage facility which held rough rice was evacuated.
Firefighters had the blaze quickly under control.
