I-40 Bridge Improvements at Carlisle to Require Lane Closure

Crews performing routine bridge maintenance will require a lane closure on Interstate 40 at Carlisle this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The improvements will require the westbound, inside lane to be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 17 and Thursday, Oct. 18. The lane closure will be in effect each day between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.     

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
