I-40 Bridge Maintenance in W. Memphis to Require Lane Closure

Crews performing routine maintenance on the Interstate 40 Bridge over the Mississippi River between West Memphis and Memphis, will require a lane closure this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The work will require the westbound, outside lane to be closed beginning Tuesday, Oct. 16 and continuing through Thursday, Oct. 18. The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.     

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
