Lonoke Sheriff's Dept. Investigating Weekend Thefts

Deputies responded Sunday morning to a call of a stolen 4-door silver Jeep Cherokee from a home on Woodland Drive in Cabot. Officials say the suspect(s) also tried to remove a car stereo from a truck parked next to the Jeep.
Sheriff's Deputies received a call of theft from a vehicle on Jeffrey Lane later Sunday afternoon, where hunting equipment and a 243 rifle were stolen. According to the Sheriff's Office, the suspect(s) also tried to steal a 4-wheeler that ran out of gas in a nearby field.
Investigators found a Mickey Mouse baseball cap, among other items, they believe may have been dropped by one of the suspects at the scene of the crime.
