Little Rock Man Hit in Leg with Bullet After Burn Pile Explodes

A Little Rock man was hospitalized after being struck in the leg by a bullet.

According to a Little Rock Police report, officers responded to UAMS where 34-year-old Jarrett Settlers said he was burning items behind his home.

The burn pile exploded, and Settlers was hit in the leg with a bullet.

Officers advised major crimes and a police sergeant, but no further action was taken.
