Investigators are trying to find out what happened to a woman whose body has been found in a Pulaski County creek.
Just before 6:00 Saturday night, deputies responded to a call at Frazier Park and Harper Road. There they met with a man concerning a deceased person.
A deputy and sergeant were taken to the 8000 block of Harper Road, where the unidentified female was discovered in a shallow creek.
Two men discovered the body while walking along a private road. They looked down from a bridge and saw the body sticking out of the creek.
Pulaski County Sheriff's Investigators were called and started the investigation. They have not yet ruled the case as a murder or released an identity.
The body has been sent to the State Crime Lab.
One of the men who discovered the body says the woman's shirt appeared to be pulled over her head, but she was fully clothed otherwise.
We'll have more details as they become available.
