Pope County Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

Arkansas State Police report that a Pope County man died in a motorcycle wreck Saturday night.

Anthony Hawkins, 35, crashed in Dover just after nine.

He was traveling north on Quail Ridge Road when he crossed the center line and ran off the road.

Hawkins struck an embankment and was thrown from his Harley Davidson.

Conditions were dry and clear at the time.

Arkansas State Police investigators say Hawkins was not wearing a helmet.
