The Baxter County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) says the 15-year-old boy was taken into custody today for a September 24th break-in reported when property care takers found the glass broken out of a door at the rear of the building.
There was an active video surveillance system in place on the premises that captured footage of a young male suspect inside the building.
Investigators were able to develop the juvenile as a suspect based upon video evidence. After he was taken into custody, the teen admitted to going inside the business and stealing some batteries.
He is charged with Commercial Burglary, which is a felony crime, and with Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor. He was turned over to Baxter County Juvenile authorities.
The rehab center is located on Highway 5 North.
