UAMS Offers November Computer Classes for People 50+

Four new computer classes are being offered at UAMS in Little Rock next month for Arkansans aged 50 and over.

Fundamentals for Beginners, The Internet, Introduction to Computers and Genealogy-Legacy 7 will be taught in October at the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.

Classes are two hours and begin October 29th. Class times are:
  • Fundamentals for Beginners, Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - noon
  • The Internet, Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 - 3 p.m. 
  • Introduction to Computers, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m. 
  • Genealogy-Legacy 7, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 - 3 p.m.
The cost is $45 per course for individuals and $75 for couples. An optional textbook is $15. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group.

Classes are in Room 2156 at the Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive.
