Hundreds gathered on Wednesday to say their final goodbyes to Little Rock news anchor Matt Turner, who died Saturday night in a single-car accident on Interstate 30 outside of Bryant.

Turner's funeral was held in Arkadelphia, where it was a sad day, but also one of warm memories.

The church was standing room only, as hundreds of people filed into Third Street Baptist to pay their final respects to Matt Turner.

Every pew was filled, then people lined the walls.

Friends stood up and shared special memories of working with him and special times of behind-the-scenes fun at home.

Friends also talked about how Matt loved to joke with people an considered everyone his best friend.

Turner was a man that will be remembered as a great friend, wonderful father, dedicated worker and community servant.
