Arkansas Defensive End Arrested for Missing Court Date

Razorbacks defensive end Chris Smith was arrested early Wednesday morning for missing a court date for a speeding ticket.

According to ArkansasSports360.com, Smith was pulled over in May for driving 64 mph in a 45 mph zone in Farmington.

After failing to appear in court, Smith had a warrant issued for his arrest on July 31, according to the article.

The article states that Smith is the seventh Razorbacks football player to be arrested this year, with five of the previous six being dismissed from the team.

Coach John L. Smith said Chris Smith will be eligible to play on Saturday against Kentucky, according to the article.
