England's former police chief is hoping he'll have his job back following Tuesday night's city council meeting.

Herman Hutton has appealed his firing by the mayor in mid-September.

The former chief believes his faith played a role in the dismissal, but the mayor claims it was a lack of supervision in the department.

Hutton supporters are also organizing a rally outside city hall that's slated to start at 6:00 p.m.
