The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) was supposed to make a decision today on the closing of Saratoga High School in Mineral Springs, but told that item reportedly did not make it on the agenda.

Officials at ADE say the Mineral Springs School Board decided not to appeal any decision they would have made today.

According to a report, former Mineral Springs Superintendent Max Adcock gave false information to the ADE about classes being held and the number of units students are required to take.

The Mineral Springs School Board decided not to appeal any decision the boards would have made today and close the school.
