October is an action-filled month for North Little Rock's Laman Library.

Debra Wood, the library's Exhibits and Events Manager stopped by to fill us in on what's happening over the next few weeks.

The first of many upcoming things to do this month at Laman is tonight's "Reel Classics with the Rep," which is showing the 80's classic movie "Fame," starring Irene Cara. The movie starts at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, it's the latest offering of "Live at Laman." The Episcopal Collegiate School "SteelCat" Steel Drum Band will perform, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Next Tuesday (October 16), it's "Fit 2 Live" @ Laman!, featuring a lecture titled "Navigating Nutrition Recommendations: Is My Plate Your Plate?" The lecture begins at 6:30 p.m.
