Karl Rove, the political mastermind behind George W. Bush's 2000 election and subsequent re-election is here to speak at a closed-door CEO Summit being hosted by investment giant Stephens.
Rove is also the powerhouse behind American Crossroads, the conservative Super PAC that has spent more than $66 million on advertising campaigns in an effort to defeat President Barack Obama and other Democratic candidates running in the 2012 election.
The CEO Summit is being held at the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock. The hotel, which is owned by Stephens, is closed to the public until Friday afternoon.
Rove could not be reached for comment. A spokesperson for Stephens did not return our call seeking comment.
This summer, GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney stayed at the Capital Hotel during his private fundraising event in Little Rock.
