Bridge Inspection on Martin Luther King Expressway in Hot Springs to Require Lane Closure

Crews performing a routine bridge inspection on the Martin Luther King Expressway (Highway 270) in Hot Springs will require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The bridge inspection, located between Carpenter Dam Road and Central Avenue over Hot Springs Creek, will require the eastbound, outside lane to be closed on Monday, Oct. 8.
The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
