Resurfacing in Jefferson Co. to Cause Lane Closures on 2 Highways

Crews doing resurfacing work on Highways 79B and 190 in Pine Bluff will require lane closures for the next four weeks, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The improvements will require lane closures on Highway 79B in the area between West Sixth Avenue and West 28th Avenue beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Lane closures on Highway 190 will also begin on Oct. 3 and will be located between Highway 79B and North University Drive
Lane closures will be in effect at both sites from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day and will continue at both locations for approximately four weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through the work zones.
