High school students and parents got a taste of college life today on the UAMS campus.
Eighteen colleges from across the country were in Little Rock giving out information to the high schoolers about their schools.
They also had tips on admissions and enrollment for the 100 teens in attendance to help them in the year to come. But the students aren't the only ones to benefit from the symposium.
Arkansas Commitment Executive Director Jason Hamilton says, "For colleges and institutions, they're able to come in to our location for this symposium and know that they're meeting with approximately 100 talented, qualified students from the surrounding five counties."
Organizers say this is the 13th year for the event, but it was the largest one so far.
