A Conway man died after the dump truck he was driving ran into a ditch.

Sixty-seven-year-old Phillip Jackson was driving north on highway 305 in White County Friday morning, when he lost control of the truck, went off the road, and ran into a tree.

He was taken to Baptist hospital in Little Rock where he was pronounced dead Friday afternoon. Troopers say Jackson wasn't wearing a seat-belt.
