A Palestine, Arkansas family getting an energy makeover worth 50 thousand dollars right in time for Autumn!

Friday marked the completion of the project won by the Thomas family and put together by the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas.

Lee and Berthella Thomas say they are hoping this makeover will help them save on energy costs.

"Now we don't have to run the ceiling fans as much, says Berthella Thomas, "and with all the caulking and insulation we keep the thermostat on one level and be done with it."

This is the fifth run straight the Electric Cooperatives have held the energy efficiency makeover contest!
