Matt Jenkins and Ze'Ann Windle hope they'll start moving up in the world after they graduate, but there's one thing they're concerned could hold their generation back.
"Right now the biggest issue for me is the economy," Jenkins says.
"I have noticed how the economy has failed in a sense, it's really went down just by watching my family and their job and my job," notes Windle.
With unemployment at just over 8 percent nationwide, college kids like Matt and Ze'Ann might have a tough time getting a job when they finish up school.
"I'm not sure if it's going to go uphill or downhill," Windle says.
Like everyone else, they have bills to pay.
"Getting a minimum wage paycheck just trying to pay for my gas," explains Jenkins.
They are realistic about the state of the economy.
Jenkins says, "I just know what it is now and I know it will eventually get better."
Until then, they're going to keep moving forward with their education.
