obesity2007-08-28-1188328181.jpgThe "F as in Fat" report also shows almost thirty percent of adults in this state don't exercise.  In addition, Arkansas' children are weighing in on the wrong side of healthy living.  Their numbers rank the state 12th in the nation for the most overweight 10 to 17-year-olds.  An obesity summit now underway in Little Rock, is giving health leaders some ideas for change. One concept borrowed from South Carolina would enlist the help of pastors to spread the word about diabetes control to African-Americans.
