Second Deadly Store Clerk Shooting in Central Arkansas Prompts Increased Security

The most recent, Tuesday night in Pine Bluff.
Detectives say they got a call around 8:45, when they arrived at the Alon Gas Station and Big Red Food Mart, on East 6th Street, they found 26-year-old M.D. Islam dead inside the store.

Muhammad Tirek, has been working at the Big Red for two years, he says people from his country of Bangladesh come to the U-S for a better opportunity, and is sad his friend was killed and now fears for his own life.
"I've worked this gas station more than two years nothing happened, there are good community and we are apart of the community and make a business to take care of my life and family, we never have a problem with anybody, so we don't think we have any enemy."
Muhammad goes on to say that M.D. had only been working at Big Red Food Mart for two weeks.
He was engaged to be married and had no children.
Detectives would not say how much money was taken.
