A Cave Springs man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for sexually assaulting a disabled woman while he was an employee at Pathfinders.

Rickey Lynn Carson received the sentence from County Circuit Court Judge R. Green as part of a plea deal.

Cave Springs Police arrested Carson in January.

The assault was captured on surveillance video when it happened at Pathfinders, a learning center for people with development disabilities.

The company said Carson was no longer employed before the accusations surfaced but background checks were performed and turned up no red flags.
