Arkansas State Fair Prices to Make a Minor Increase

You may see new attractions this year at the Arkansas State Fair, but it's going to cost more to ride the rides.
Wristband prices are increasing by one whole dollar this year. It's not much, but State Fair officials say it's what's needed to compensate for rising operation costs and all the free promotional days they offer. Even with this increase, the fair claims they're prices are inexpensive compared to others throughout the nation.
"We have so many promotions going on throughout that week that the fair's still a bargain. Any way you look at it it's a bargain," said John Stoptaw, the Arkansas State Fair's general manager.
The Arkansas State Fair will be held from October 12th through the 21st.
